Tyrese Haliburton Solid In First Career Start
4 years agoWith center Richaun Holmes (ankle) out, the Sacramento Kings shifted some things around in Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers, moving Marvin Bagley III to center and starting three guards, including rookie Tyrese Haliburton. It was Haliburton's first career start, and he responded by scoring 12 points on 5-for-8 shooting to go along with eight assists, two rebounds, and a steal. It was interesting to see Haliburton serving as the point guard with De'Aaron Fox working as more of a two-guard. That could be what the future backcourt for the Kings looks like. Haliburton is young but continues to show he belongs on an NBA floor. Fantasy managers in need of assists and steals should keep an eye on the former Iowa State Cyclone.
