4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist) will not play Sunday against the San Antonio Spurs. Towns returned to action Saturday and played 37 minutes after missing a few games with a dislocated wrist, but will rest Sunday on the second night of a back-to-back. The team stressed this was expected as a part of their plan to get Towns as healthy as possible. The good news is Minnesota does not play again until Wednesday which will give more time for Towns to heal. Without Towns, the Timberwolves have used a committee of Naz Reid, Jarred Vanderbilt and Ed Davis at center. None of three offer much in terms of fantasy value.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
