Cleveland Scratches Collin Sexton At Tip-Off Monday
4 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point/shooting guard Collin Sexton (ankle) was a literal last-second scratch Monday, being announced as the starter and getting set to take the floor before the team decided not to play him versus Memphis. After a similar circumstance last week due to an ankle injury, Sexton is essentially a no-go from a DFS perspective for the foreseeable future due to the team's inability to adequately convey his true health status. Damyean Dotson was tabbed to make the start at point guard and figures to see a sizable role without Sexton, Darius Garland (shoulder), Dante Exum (calf), or Matthew Dellavedova (concussion) available. Sexton's next chance to take the floor comes Tuesday against the Jazz, although he can be considered a true 50-50 fantasy asset.
