Lonzo Ball Unavailable For Friday’s Contest
4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball (knees) will miss Friday's game versus the Lakers due to what the team has listed as bilateral knee tendinopathy. Nickeil Alexander-Walker stepped in for Ball on Wednesday and dropped a career-high 37 points in his second NBA start, and is likely to receive another start without Ball in the mix. In three career contests versus the team that selected him second overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, Ball has averaged a career-best 17.3 PPG, a number that he'll be unable to capitalize upon. Check back for injury updates as they become available on Ball, but his next chance to suit up comes Sunday against Sacramento.
