4 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic entered play Thursday averaging a triple-double on the season and followed up that hype by delivering his fifth triple-double of the year in a win over the Warriors. Despite not knocking down a three for only the third time this season, Jokic finished with a team-high 23 points on 8-for-16 shooting, adding 14 rebounds and 10 assists, pitching in three steals for good measure. The MVP fervor has begun to percolate around Jokic, and with good reason, as he has logged at least a double-double in each of his first 12 contests. His next outing comes Sunday versus the Jazz, whom he averaged 29.3 PPG against last year, having notched three straight double-doubles when facing the Western Conference foe.--Jesse Borek
