Indiana Rules Myles Turner Out For Sunday’s Game
4 years agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner (hand) will miss his first game of the season Sunday versus the Clippers due to a right hand injury. With Goga Bitadze (ankle) questionable in his own right, Domantas Sabonis is likely to see significant duties at the center spot against L.A. Doug McDermott could also stand to see increased usage in the case that the Pacers are forced to play small should Bitadze's injury limit his workload. In addition to leading the NBA with a whopping 4.2 blocks per game, Turner has peeled off double-doubles in each of his last two outings and in three of his last four overall. His next chance to suit up comes Wednesday against Dallas.
