4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's game versus the Spurs due to a sprained left foot. McCollum sustained the injury during Saturday's win over Atlanta, with his absence allowing Gary Trent Jr. to see extended run off the bench and for Damian Lillard to take on a larger offensive role. McCollum's production has ascended to elite status to begin the year, as his average of 4.8 made threes per game is tops in the NBA entering play Sunday. Look for Trent to enter the starting five and become a trendy DFS option Monday, with McCollum's next chance at getting back into action coming Wednesday against Memphis.--Jesse Borek
