4 years agoHouston Rockets point guard John Wall (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game versus Chicago, marking his third consecutive absence due to knee soreness. With Houston not having a true backup PG, it's been a collaborative effort in setting up the offense in Wall's absence, as Victor Oladipo is the likeliest candidate to see increased duties Monday during his team debut. Head coach Stephen Silas has embraced the long-term when it comes to Wall's health status, which indicates that his current absences are as much of a maintenance issue as anything. His next chance to take the floor comes Wednesday against the Suns.--Jesse Borek
