4 years agoSacramento Kings center Hassan Whiteside (hip) will miss his second straight game Sunday versus New Orleans due to hip soreness. The Kings accrued just two blocks as a team in Whiteside's absence as the Clippers mercilessly attacked the rim, which could be much of the same case for the Pelicans on Sunday. Chimezie Metu saw an increased workload with the second unit in Whiteside's absence, while Richaun Holmes could stand to benefit from a handful of additional minutes. Whiteside's limited minutes allotment keeps him from being a season-long commodity at this stage, with his next chance to return coming Wednesday against the Clippers.--Jesse Borek
