4 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic participated in his 14th game of the season Tuesday during a win over the Thunder and logged his 14th double-double of the year in the process. Despite playing a season-low 28 minutes due to the Nuggets' comfortable fourth quarter lead, Jokic was able to dominate the thin Thunder interior to the tune of 27 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists, while shooting 12-for-21 from the field. There have been few players across the NBA who have replicated similar early-season production on the level of Jokic, who has emerged as an MVP candidate through the first month of the year. He next faces a Suns squad Friday that he came just a rebound shy of recording a triple-double against in their most recent matchup back on New Year's Day.--Jesse Borek
