4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Anthony Edwards was once again held in check offensively during Friday's defeat to the Hawks, shooting just 2-for-12 from the field with five points. Edwards has been flummoxed over his past five outings, shooting 19.6 percent overall, while failing to affect the game in other facets. The blowout nature of Friday's loss allowed Minnesota to get 13 players into action, further clogging up Edwards' opportunities. There's little doubt that the T-Wolves will continue to utilize him moving forward, but his rookie season lumps may force him to the waiver wire in smaller single-season leagues while he works through his shooting woes.--Jesse Borek
