4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio has been given the thumbs up to take the floor Saturday against New Orleans, but he will be limited to around 24-28 minutes, per head coach Ryan Saunders. The team is easing Rubio back into the mix after an extended absence under the league's COVID-19 protocols. Without D'Angelo Russell (rest) in the mix, Rubio is likely to start, with Jordan McLaughlin serving as his backup. The minutes cap hurts Rubio's GPP appeal in DFS, but he should have a sound floor with his transition into the starting five. His season-long appeal should take a hit upon Russell's return.--Jesse Borek
