4 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic tallied 28 points with eight assists and five rebounds in Saturday's loss to Houston. He shot 9-for-18 from the field with an ugly 1-for-6 record from deep and his 7-for-12 free-throw shooting left a lot to be desired as well. Luka also had one block on the defensive end, before getting pulled only after 29 minutes of action with the game out of reach. It was an ugly night by the Mavs and Doncic's stats suffered because of it, but Kristaps Porzingis (knee) was rested in what was the team's second game of a back-to-back set, and the Latvian should return on Monday against Denver. Doncic had a season-high 38 points with 13 assists and nine rebounds in this season's first head to head meeting with the Nuggets.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
