Blake Griffin Ruled Out For Wednesday’s Contest
4 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin (knee, rest) has been deemed unavailable for Wednesday's game versus Cleveland as the team continues to monitor his knee ailment. Griffin is yet to play in both legs of a back-to-back this season, and with the Pistons set for a clash against the Lakers on Thursday, he'll remain sidelined for the road outing. Even when cleared to play, Griffin has scuffled mightily as of late, scoring in single digits in three of his last four games, shooting 32.4 percent in that span. Saddiq Bey figures to see an increased role in Griffin's absence, making the rookie a DFS punt play option, while Sekou Doumbouya should also see more opportunities.
