4 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's contest versus the Magic due to a knee issue. The absence marks his third consecutive outing on the sidelines, paving the way for Reggie Jackson to retain his elevated fantasy role as the team's starting PG. While Beverley has proven adept at multi-category contributions, he's undoubtedly more valuable to the Clippers than most fantasy squads, with Jackson presenting an increase in raw statistical output. That being said, the return of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George may knock Jackson's intrigue back down a notch Friday. The next chance that Beverley has of suiting up comes Sunday against New York.--Jesse Borek
