4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers small/power forward Derrick Jones Jr. (foot) departed Thursday's contest against Houston with a foot injury that did not show a fracture upon undergoing X-rays. Jones has started all 17 games for Portland this season, but has shown limited offensive upside, scoring in double figures just three times, one of which included Thursday. It's unclear how long Jones could be sidelined due to the issue, but his next chance to suit up comes Saturday versus the Bulls, an outing that he can be considered questionable for at the moment.--Jesse Borek
