4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell (quad) has been given the green light to return to action for Friday's game against the 76ers. Russell has missed each of the team's three previous outings due to a quad bruise, allowing Ricky Rubio to slot into the starting five. With Russell back, Rubio loses much of his DFS shine, while becoming a tenuous season-long fantasy asset. With Karl-Anthony Towns still sidelined due to COVID-19, Russell presents an upside play most nights due to the team's need for offensive contributions.--Jesse Borek
