Aaron Gordon Will Miss 4-6 Weeks Due To Ankle Sprain
4 years agoOrlando Magic power forward Aaron Gordon (ankle) has been ruled out for the next four to six weeks due to the sprained left ankle that he sustained Sunday against Toronto. After blossoming with terrific stat lines during mid-January, Gordon had a rough finish to the month, shooting 30.8 percent over his last four games. It will be difficult for Orlando to tab one player to fill Gordon's multi-faceted role, with James Ennis, Chuma Okeke and Khem Birch all candidates to take on increased roles, while Nikola Vucevic will presumably have an even larger offensive role. With Gordon's injury likely keeping him out past the All-Star break, fantasy managers without open Injured Reserve spots are best served moving on during the month of February.
