4 years agoWith a lot of key players sidelined, Portland Trail Blazers guard Gary Trent Jr. scored 24 points on 8-for-23 shooting in Thursday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. In addition, he grabbed three rebounds and dished out three assists. Trent was 4-for-9 from three and also blocked a shot. He'll face the Knicks on Saturday, who hold opponents to the league's lowest field goal percentage from three and second-fewest points per game. Not a great matchup, though if the Trail Blazers aren't healthy and Trent's forced into a larger role again, he should compile enough numbers to make him worth a lineup spot in season-long leagues.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
