Jaylen Brown Ruled Out For Friday’s Game
4 years agoBoston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown (knee) will not take the floor for Friday's contest against the Clippers, marking his first absence of the year. With Brown's consistent availability, it'll be difficult to ascertain who will be in line to see an increased role on the wing, although Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker should undoubtedly draw a larger share of offensive looks. Brown has blossomed into a top-tier fantasy asset this year, having taken at least 18 shot attempts in each of his last nine appearances, averaging 27 PPG in that span. So long as Marcus Smart (calf) remains sidelined, Brown will hold increased DFS appeal when healthy. His next chance to suit up comes Sunday versus Phoenix.
