Anthony Davis Ruled Out For Monday’s Game
4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers power forward/center Anthony Davis (Achilles) has been deemed unavailable to play in Monday's contest against the Thunder due to tendinitis in his right Achilles. The injury is the latest malady to befall Davis, who will likely cede way in the starting five to Kyle Kuzma, who leaps up the leaderboard of upside DFS plays Monday. Traditionally seen as an elite fantasy asset, Davis is snagging the fewest rebounds per contest (8.6) since his rookie season, while averaging 22.3 PPG, his third-lowest career mark. With Los Angeles having ample offensive options, Davis has not been needed for immense nightly production. His next chance to suit up comes Wednesday in a rematch with Oklahoma City.
