4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell (leg) will miss Wednesday's contest versus the Clippers as he continues to deal with a sore left leg. The ailment forced Russell from the team's most recent outing, allowing Ricky Rubio to see a sizable minutes increase, a role that he figures to reprise Wednesday. Without Russell in the mix, Malik Beasley, Anthony Edwards, and Jaylen Nowell are all set to see increased scoring roles, which moves up their level of DFS consideration. Minnesota has shown a willingness to play it safe with Russell as he works through recent ailments, with his next chance to take the floor coming Friday against Charlotte.--Jesse Borek
