Shake Milton Unlikely To Play In Thursday’s Contest
4 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point/shooting guard Shake Milton (ankle) has been tagged as doubtful to play in Thursday's game versus Portland due to a sprained left ankle. After the Seth Curry faux pas, it appears the doubtful tag was aimed for Milton, although the duo are both dealing with the same ailment. Having served as the primary scoring weapon for Philly's second unit, Milton's likely absence opens the door for Furkan Korkmaz and Tyrese Maxey to see increased offensive roles against the Trail Blazers' exploitable defensive unit. Barring a significant change of fortune, the Sixers will be down Milton's 14 PPG average for at least one outing.
