4 years agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young scored 25 points with 15 assists, seven rebounds, four triples, a block, and a steal in a 118-117 loss to the Mavericks. Young shot just 8 of 22 from the field but was excellent as a facilitator, as he made several nifty passes under and through the defense all night. He has dished out at least 13 assists in four of his last six contests while averaging 28 points per game in that span. Best of all for his fantasy managers, Young played a whopping 42 minutes- and the 11-13 Hawks will need him on the floor as much as possible if they want to hang onto the 8-seed in the East. He'll get a day off before Friday's matchup with the Spurs, who have had trouble defending opposing point guards this season.--Tim Capurso
