4 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal (rest) will be absent from Friday's contest against the Knicks due to rest purposes, marking the first time this season that the league's leading scorer has been absent without an injury designation. The move is certainly a curious one with a back-to-back scheduled for Sunday/Monday for the Wizards, which is sure to only increase the trade fervor around Beal, who has blossomed into an elite fantasy asset this year. Russell Westbrook will see an immense increase in DFS appeal, while Raul Neto, Ish Smith, and potentially even Garrison Mathews should all see additional offensive opportunities.
