D'Angelo Russell Will Miss Friday’s Contest
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell (leg) will remain sidelined for Friday's game versus the Hornets as he continues to be hampered by a sore left leg. Injuries have torpedoed Russell's production this season, with Ricky Rubio in line to continue seeing increased minutes as the team's starting PG. After playing for a prolonged period without Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota is now missing their other former All-Star, with the duo having suited up for just four games together in 2020-21 thus far. Russell's next chance to take the floor comes Sunday against Toronto.
