4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points on 9-for-15 shooting in Thursday's win over the 76ers. In addition, he grabbed two rebounds and was 4-for-5 from three. He'll face the Cavaliers on Friday, who allow opponents to shoot the second-highest field goal percentage from three but to score just the 18th-most points per game. Anthony is carving out a nice scoring role for Portland, scoring 20-plus points in four of the last five games. A two-point stinker was sandwiched in between, but Anthony still took eight shots in that game. He should have ample chances to shoot from deep on Friday, though the overall matchup might make him slightly riskier than he'd otherwise be.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
