Blake Griffin Out Indefinitely
4 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin is going to be held out of the rotation going forward. The organization is attempting to trade the veteran big man, so they plan on sitting him until they find a suitor. That could be a tough task considering he's owed $36.6 million this season and $39 million in 2021-2022. Griffin is currently posting career-lows and he has been sidelined multiple times in his career due to significant knee injuries. At worst, it sounds like the Pistons would be forced to discuss a buyout with Griffin. In the meantime, Isaiah Stewart, Saddiq Bey, and Sekou Doumbouya will see more playing time. Bey is looking like the best option out of the three right now. However, Stewart could be a decent deep league option, while Doumbouya hasn't made a huge impact, but should be on the fantasy radar.
