Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Remains Out Against Blazers
4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (knee) will sit Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Gilgeous-Alexander has been dealing with knee issues for over a week now and will miss his fourth game in a row and sixth game in his past eight. The good news for the Thunder is Theo Maledon (health and safety protocols) has been cleared to play and is now the only healthy true point guard on the roster. Maledon may have to get up to speed after missing five games, but he will likely be the starting point guard again sooner rather than later. Hamidou Diallo, Kenrich Williams, Justin Jackson and Luguentz Dort have all benefitted from Gilgeous-Alexander's absence as well.
