4 years agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell had a strong showing in a narrow loss to the Clippers. Mitchell scored 35 points on a season-high 27 shot attempts, adding five assists, four rebounds, four triples, three steals and just one turnover. The Louisville product stepped up against a Clippers team that was at full strength for the first time since the beginning of the month and impressively took great care of the basketball on such high usage. After a slow start, Mitchell has settled in as a fourth-round value and will need to keep up these performances if the Jazz want to hang onto the No. 1 seed out west.--Tim Capurso
