4 years agoPhoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton overcame early foul trouble and finished a blowout win over Portland with a solid all-around line, going for 19 points, five rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal in 26 minutes. He shot 8-for-11 from the field and 3-for-3 at the charity stripe. It was a shame Ayton picked up two early fouls and the game went out of hands for the Blazers, as centers are feasting against Portland with Jusuf Nurkic (wright) out of the picture. The next matchup against Charlotte should be a favorable one as well for Ayton. Centers don't get a lot of points against the Hornets, but they are giving up the third-most rebounds per 48 minutes to the position, which spells trouble as the league's fifth-best rebounder is heading their way.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
