4 years agoDenver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray had 24 points on his 24th birthday in Tuesday's win over the Trail Blazers. He was held in check for most of the game but then went off for 19 points in the fourth quarter. Murray finished with 7-for-18 shooting from the field and with a 6-for-6 effort at the foul line. He also had a nice 4-for-8 record from downtown, completing his line with eight assists, five rebounds, two steals, and one block. Murray had a slow start to the month, but he has now scored at least 22 points in seven straight games. The streak includes a couple of 30-point efforts and a career-high 50 points on Feb. 19 against Cleveland. He'll be in a crush spot against Washington next, as only San Antonio is allowing more points to point guards than the Wizards.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
