4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard collected his fifth double-double in six games on Tuesday, finishing a 111-106 loss to Denver with 25 points and 13 assists. He overcame a rough start after registering only five first-half points. Dame finished with 9-for-21 shooting from the field and he went 3-for-11 from three-point land. His line also included seven rebounds and five turnovers in 35 minutes. Lillard will meet the league's top defensive team next when Portland faces the Lakers on Friday. It's not a great matchup for him, but the Blazers leader did enjoy his first meeting with the champions this season, missing only six shots and scoring a game-high 31 points on Dec. 28 in a 115-107 win.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
