Cleveland Signs Brodric Thomas, Releases Marques Bolden
4 years agoThe Cleveland Cavaliers brought aboard shooting guard Brodric Thomas on a two-way contract Wednesday, waiving center Marques Bolden to make room on the roster. Thomas appeared in four games for Houston this season, scoring 10 points across 24 combined minutes. Having gone undrafted out of Truman State University in 2020, Thomas figures to spend most of his time in the G League, although he could be utilized for wing depth on occasion. Bolden appeared in seven games with the Cavs over the past two years, scoring just points with eight rebounds in 32 minutes. At just 22 years old, Bolden will likely find a new organization sooner rather than later.
