4 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Elfrid Payton (hamstring) has been tagged as doubtful to suit up for Thursday's game against the Kings. Payton has started each of New York's 32 contests to begin the season, with his absence paving the way for Immanuel Quickley to potentially vault into the starting five for the first time in his career. It's difficult to ascertain how head coach Tom Thibodeau could spread Payton's minutes around since he's been available for every game to this point, but Derrick Rose, RJ Barrett, and Reggie Bullock could also see additional minutes funneled their way. Barring last-minute word that updates Payton's status, fantasy managers can assume his next chance to suit up comes Saturday versus Indiana.--Jesse Borek
