4 years agoSacramento Kings center Hassan Whiteside has been deemed out for Thursday's game against the Knicks due to the league's health and safety protocols. Whiteside had been serving as a high-volume contributor off the bench for the Kings, but his absence paves the way for Nemanja Bjelica to potentially rejoin the rotation. Richaun Holmes figures to remain entrenched as the team's starting center, while Marvin Bagley III should see a short-term increase in value without Whiteside in the mix. Averaging a career-best 20.4 points per 36 minutes this year, Whiteside has been massively effective from a fantasy perspective when on the court; his next opportunity to do so will come Friday versus Detroit.--Jesse Borek
