4 years agoChicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen returned from a shoulder problem with a 23-point effort in Thursday's loss to Philly, shooting 8-for-11 from the field with an incredible 7-for-7 effort from behind the arc. He hadn't played since Feb. 5. Markkanen's line also included four rebounds and one block in 28 minutes. The game turned into a blowout, so the Bulls had no reason to play him more, especially with another game on the horizon on Friday. The Bulls host Miami, who are among the league's top defensive sides, but whose defensive numbers against opposing power forwards aren't particularly great, and they also give up a league-high 40.8 three-point attempts per game, which should suit Markkanen.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
