4 years agoIndiana Pacers shooting guard Caris Levert (kidney) has been given the green light to get back into action for Saturday's contest against Phoenix. LeVert will be making his team debut when he takes the floor, having been out of action since he was dealt to the Pacers in January, when a cancerous mass was found on his kidney during his physical. Since it's removal, LeVert has been moving toward a return and there aren't expected to be any adverse long-term effects. There figures to be an acclimation period back into game action for LeVert, who averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.3 rebounds across 12 contests with the Nets earlier this season.--Jesse Borek
