4 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been deemed probable to get back into action for Friday's contest against the Wizards as he works his way through the league's health and safety protocols. After being deemed a COVID-19 close contact, Embiid missed both the All-Star Game this past weekend and Thursday's game versus Chicago, which allowed Tony Bradley and Dwight Howard to have their DFS appeal elevated. With Embiid expected back, both Bradley and Howard can be avoided in all formats. Washington's interior defense has been decimated by opposing big men this season, which should make Embiid arguably the top play on the slate. In the first two meetings between the teams this year, Embiid went for 29 and 14, and 38 and eight, respectively.--Jesse Borek
