4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball scored 11 points with a career-high 17 assists in a losing effort to the Trail Blazers on Tuesday. Ball added three rebounds, three triples, and two steals in 35 minutes. The former Bruin had just two turnovers, so it was a very efficient and impressive performance given the difficulty of some of his passes. Ball has been playing great basketball since the start of February, as he's averaged 15.3 points, 6.0 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 triples, and 1.3 steals per game on 44/43/84 percent shooting splits. He'll get a rematch with the Blazers on Thursday.--Tim Capurso
