Darius Bazley Faces Extended Absence Due To Shoulder Injury
4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder power forward Darius Bazley (shoulder) has been diagnosed as a "week-to-week" absence, as opposed to being merely day-to-day in light of the left shoulder contusion that has forced him to miss the past two weeks. Bazley had gotten into a solid rhythm prior to the injury, having amassed three double-doubles in his last four appearances. Without him in the mix, Isaiah Roby, Moses Brown and Aleksej Pokusevski all have varying levels of intrigue, although none immediately stand to benefit immensely from Bazley's extended absence. Barring an open IL slot, Bazley will likely have to land back onto the wire in the vast majority of season-long formats until more is known about a potential return to action.
