Derrick Rose Clears Health And Safety Protocols
4 years agoNew York Knicks point/shooting guard Derrick Rose has been given the thumbs up to get back into action ahead of Tuesday's contest against the Wizards. Rose confirmed that he had a severe bout of COVID-19, which could scuttle his chances at contributing significantly in the short term. In addition to the illness, Rose has not seen game action since Feb. 28, putting his absence at eight games. Prior to entering the protocols, Rose had started each of the last three contests that he appeared in, a role that he could reclaim down the stretch, especially if Elfrid Payton (hamstring) remains banged up.
