4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small/power forward Jake Layman is back in the starting lineup Monday after a one-game demotion to the second unit. While Layman has averaged north of 20 minutes per contest across his nine starts this year, he has actually averaged more PPG as a reserve (6.3) than as a starter (5.6). Irrespective of his role, Layman can be viewed as a deep season-long league commodity only, one with a limited span of fantasy viability with Malik Beasley's (suspension) return on the horizon.--Jesse Borek
