4 years agoBrooklyn Nets power forward/center Blake Griffin (knee, rest) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus the Jazz, the second leg of the team's back-to-back. Griffin was rarely utilized in both ends of back-to-back settings during his tenure with the Pistons this season, so the decision to rest him doesn't come as a surprise. Jeff Green and Nicolas Claxton could both snag an additional handful of minutes without Griffin in the mix, although the former All-Star has yet to make a significant impact in his two games with Brooklyn. There should be little impeding Griffin from suiting up Friday when he faces Detroit for the first time since having his contract bought out earlier this month.--Jesse Borek
