4 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant had just 11 points on 35.7 percent shooting from the field in his last game, though he put that behind him with Friday's performance. Morant scored 32 points on 11-for-21 shooting from the field and 9 of 11 shooting from the free-throw line. The 21-year-old dished out 11 assists compared to one turnover- chipping in four rebounds and a triple in 37 minutes. Morant has at least 29 points and nine assists in two of his last three games, with a rematch against the Jazz coming up on Saturday. On paper, it's a tricky matchup, given Utah's third-best defensive rating in the league- though Morant proved to be a tricky player for the Jazz to defend on Friday night.--Tim Capurso
