4 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Clint Capela notched his third straight double-double as he helped snap his team's two-game losing streak on Friday. Capela poured in 18 points with 15 rebounds, recording a field goal percentage above 80 percent for the second straight contest. The 26-year-old made his presence felt on the defensive end as well, compiling three blocks and two steals in his 30 minutes on the court. Capela has had some up-and-down scoring efforts but has been consistently excellent as a rebounder and defender, with averages of 15 boards and 2.0 blocks per game this month. He'll have a tall task on both ends in Sunday's matchup against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets, though he did have a 22-10 line with a block in their first meeting.--Tim Capurso
