Lonzo Ball Unlikely To Suit Up Saturday
4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball (hip) has been tagged as doubtful to play in Saturday's game versus Dallas due to a strained hip flexor. Ball has missed each of the team's three previous contests, paving the way for Nickeil Alexander-Walker to join the starting five and gain sizable short-term streamer value. With New Orleans having hung onto Ball through the Trade Deadline, it's likely that he'll return to the starting lineup as soon as he is healthy. Having averaged a career-high 14.2 PPG while shooting a career-best 42.5 percent overall, Ball has played his way into being rostered in nearly all season-long leagues. Barring a late change of heart, his next opportunity to take the floor should come Monday against the Celtics.
