4 years agoFree-agent power forward LaMarcus Aldridge has signed a one-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. The deal is for the veteran's minimum- and will see to it that Aldridge will suit up for a team with championship aspirations, something he reportedly desired. The 35-year-old is having the worst statistical season of his career since his rookie season- though perhaps a Nets' frontcourt starving for production could get some strong performances out of him down the stretch. Still, Aldridge will probably have more real-life value than fantasy value, given that he'll be competing for minutes with DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin, and Jeff Green.--Tim Capurso
