4 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic notched his league-leading 42nd double-double in Tuesday's victory over the 76ers. Jokic compiled 21 points, 10 boards, and five assists in 34 minutes. As far as Jokic statlines go, this one was a bit empty with the lack of defensive statistics, plus he had six turnovers. Still, his efficiency has been off the charts this year, as he's scoring 26.7 points per game on 57.1 percent shooting from the field- and has exceeded his season average in field goal percentage in six of his last seven games. Jokic will take on the Clippers on Thursday. He narrowly missed out on a triple-double with a 24-10-9 line against them in their first meeting.--Tim Capurso
