4 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant killed it with 36 points against Utah Wednesday night, but his efforts weren't enough in a 111-107 loss. He finished with 11-for-18 shooting from the field and went 12-for-15 at the charity stripe, adding seven assists, three steals and two rebounds with five turnovers in 36 minutes. Morant, who shot 2-for-4 from deep on Wednesday, posted four 30-point performances in March and ended up averaging 21.2 points per game for the month. He has almost a perfect matchup to start April off on the right foot as Memphis gets ready to host Minnesota.
